Escape to Puerto Vallarta

Take a break from the rain and head south

Looking for a fun spring escape? Mexico is a quick flight from Seattle, offers a myriad of unique vacation spots, and tops our list as a fantastic way to spend a long weekend. One of our favorite destinations is Puerto Vallarta. Enjoy weather (in the 70s), and bask in the sun on a scenic beachfront. So grab a margarita, and join us on this adults only vacation!

STAY

Casa Velas Boutique Hotel
This adults-only, all-inclusive hotel is listed in The Leading Small Hotels of the World and is a recipient of the AAA Four Diamond Award. Located just five minutes from Puerto Vallarta Airport and only 15 minutes from the popular downtown area, art galleries, and “El Malecon” (the boardwalk), this boutique hotel features 80 suites, some with private pools and Jacuzzis.

One of our favorite standout parts of Casa Velas is the exclusive beach club with private cabanas, food and beverage services, as well as both a dipping and a private pool. Truly an extraordinary way to spend the day on the beach without being nagged by vendors.

Casa Vales is currently running two promotions: Irons & Reels package ($299 per person, per night, based on double occupancy) that includes a day of deep sea fishing in the blue waters of Banderas Bay, known for some of the best sports fishing in the world, and two rounds of golf at either the 18-hole par 72 Jack Nicklaus or Tom Weiskopf courses in Vista Vallarta, or the 18-hole par 71 Joe Finger course in Marina Vallarta. Spa package ($330 per person per night, based on double occupancy) includes up to twenty Spa treatments, ranging from classics like the Bamboo Scrub to avant-garde rituals like a Tequila and Limon Body Scrub.
